Sleepwalking

I almost feel like I've been sleepwalking through the week. Not a whole lot has happened, other than plugging away at my projects at work.

I bought comics tonight. Most books were delayed in Chicago by UPS, but I did pick up the latest issue of Castle Waiting, which I do recommend you check out, especially if you like fairy tales. I also bought a whole bunch of back issues of The Maze Agency, which was a mystery/romance comic, mainly a mystery, which was the mainstream debut of artist Adam Hughes. Hughes went on to become well known for cheesecake pics, which is a shame because he is (or was) a very good all-around artist.

I went downtown to socialize with the SF folks, which was okay, but I think three weeks in a row is enough and I need a break now. I'm not much of a group person.

Well, maybe it depends on the group. Tomorrow I have friends coming over to play Robo Rally, and it's always fun hanging out with them. Maybe it has to do with actually doing something with the group, rather than sitting around (which may be why I'm not into parties, as a rule).

Anyway, due to the gathering there might not be an entry tomorrow. Also, this weekend I'm going to Congenial, a smallish con in the Milwaukee area which several of my friends attend, so there probably won't be an entry Saturday either.

You can probably tell I feel a bit melancholy tonight. I think I'm at a "local minimum" this week in a lot of ways, and for no discernable reason. Well, hopefully gaming tomorrow will help.
