Science Fiction Fandom

I live in Madison, Wisconsin, and am a member of SF3 (The Society for the Furtherance and Study of Fantasy and Science Fiction), which is the local organization that puts on the feminist SF convention Wiscon each Memorial Day weekend. I also have some ties to Chicago fandom (Jim Rittenhouse is a good friend of mine), and a few friends in Minneapolis fandom.

I've been a member of numerous APAs (Amateur Publishing Associations) over the last decade, several being part of SF fandom (others being part of comic book fandom). I also attend several SF conventions each year.

Fannish Organizations on the Web

Minn-Stf is the Twin Cities group which sponsors Minicon and Reinconation. Their monthly calendar, Einblatt, is available on-line.
SF Minnesota is another Twin Cities group which puts on Diversicon.
SF3 is the organization in Madison, WI which puts on Wiscon.
