The darkest of all the What If stories Marvel has ever published, everything but everything goes wrong in this book. Phil Sheldon, the protagonist of the much more upbeat Marvels, wanders the ruins of the alternate world here, and finds that the Avengers have been killed, the Hulk was turned into a giant, living cancer tumor, and Galactus and the Silver Surfer are dead. Really grotesque stuff.
