In the winter of 1995 John Sullivan was gifted with a book called The Road Ahead. In early 1996 he and his colleagues made use of the book. The Road Ahead is a hardcover, large-type look at our best-of-all-possible worlds. Toad Head brings out its hidden soul, truths that the author forgot, and lots of crayons. Toad Head is a work of parody. It is the intent of the authors and artists to provide amusing commentary through the use of excerpts and quotation out of context. The Road Ahead, by Bill Gates with Nathan Myhrvold and Peter Rinearson (1995), is published by The Penguin Group.
